L-Glutamine
(GLN)
What is
L-Glutamine?
L-Glutamine is an amino acid and is the most
abundant, naturally occurring, non-essential amino acid in muscle tissue. 60 percent of free-form amino acids
found in skeletal muscles are L-glutamine. It plays a critical role in protein synthesis. In states of
illness or injury, L-glutamine becomes conditionally essential, which means the body cannot produce enough on
its own and requires intake from food or supplements. Glutamine helps fuel two very important brain
neurotransmitters, GABA and glutamic acid, thus enhancing brain function.
During intense workouts, the body uses a great
deal of glutamine. The immune system also relies heavily on glutamine. Therefore, the intake of glutamine
keeps your body from taking glutamine from the muscles for use elsewhere and so prevents muscle
breakdown (known as catabolism). Increased glutamine consumption also provides a meaningful increase in growth
hormone levels.

How can you get L-Glutamine into your
body?
Dietary sources of L-Glutamine include beans, fish, eggs, spinach, beef,
chicken, dairy products, beets, parsley, wheat, cabbage, vegetable juices and miso soup. Because no one ingredient works totally on its own, and is enhanced by other ingredients
combined with it, we recommend you include L-glutamine as part of a complete homeopathic hgh (human growth
hormone) product. L-glutamine is an ingredient in the following
