HGH and
Endurance
My personal
experience
For quite some time, I have had a great
deal of curiosity about HGH (human growth hormone) products,
wondering if, in fact, they worked the way many sites claim. I
was skeptical about using an HGH product, especially
considering all the negative publicity with its use in
professional sports.
I am an
ingredient reader and believe in using products only
if I feel convinced that they are safe. As you may have
guessed, I don't use drugs of any type (prescription
or over the counter) as I feel they are very dangerous when
used on a regular basis.
So
I began my investigation and was intrigued with a few of
the products I studied. I was looking for a product that was
homeopathic and safe, not the kind used by professional
athletes. The first one I tried showed no noticeable
difference. However, my latest experiment proved very
successful. I am happy to share my experience with
you.
Even as
early as day 3, I went for a run on the Grouse Grind in North
Vancouver, British Columbia. It was my first time doing "The
Grind" this year (2009). I started keeping track of my times in
2002. Since then, I have run the Grind 22 times. I only ran it
once last year (in 49:30). For those of you unfamiliar with the
Grind, it is a straight ascent with no breaks 853 meters up
Grouse Mountain. The distance of 2.8 kilometers is deceptive as
it is a straight vertical climb to the top. It is a fabulous
cardio workout which is similar to being on a stair climber at
a very difficult setting, only you're in the fresh air and the
scenery from the top, looking down upon Vancouver, BC, is
beautiful.
At the
time, I could not remember my previous times, but I
finished it on this day in 43:30. The interesting part was that
it felt relatively easy. When I got to the top, I didn't feel
tired. Sure enough, when I returned home and input the times in
my computer, I discovered that this was the third fastest time
I've had since 2002. But it doesn't end there. When my
3 buddies and I got to the summit, we ran down the
backside on the old Grouse Mountain Highway Road and I just
couldn't stop running. I was in a zone and it felt like I could
run forever. I haven't felt like this in a very long time. In
the end, the total run took me 1:45:00 and I still felt
refreshed afterwards. I figure that was pretty good for a 56
year old.
I can only
attribute this to the HGH product which I had started using 3
days prior, since it was the only thing I had changed in my
routine. I hope my experience continues to be
this positive and that it helps you in your quest for health
and fitness.
By the way,
the product I use is Sytropin.
